When/Where is the competition

  • April 12th, 2026 - October 10th, 2026

  • Spread over 18 events

  • You will attend 4 events over 6 months provided you move forward at each event

Are events ticketed for audience?

  • Yes. All events will be ticketed

  • All your guests will need a ticket to view

What are protection points?

  • Points earned through ticket sales that help protect your Ultimate Comedian score 

Can Judges interrupt my set?

  • No. Judges may give feedback only after your set is complete

Can I be disqualified?

  • Yes. Rule violations may result in disqualification.

Is there a dress code?

  • Preliminary

    • Business casual. Mandatory.

  • Qualifiers

    • Formal | Red-carpet attire. Mandatory.

  • State Final Shows​

    • Formal | Red-carpet attire. Mandatory.
